Mobile Game - Text PLAY to 69866
Play the Friendsgiving Scavenger Hunt right at your table! Have all your Friendsgiving guests text PLAY to 69866 and they’ll receive different clues for items found around a Friendsgiving table that relate all of us to the refugee crisis. Winner doesn’t have to do dishes!
Culinary traditions are important everywhere. Just as you wouldn’t hear of changing one ingredient of your grandma’s secret stuffing, refugees hold the foods from their home countries close to their hearts as well.
We invite you to prepare your Friendsgiving meal with us. Share your favorite Friendsgiving recipe and we will share with you a recipe from Syria, the Central American Northern Triangle region, or another country with a refugee emergency. Help preserve these cultures and add an international flair to your table.
Kibbe in Yogurt Sauce
Beef, spinach and peanut stew
We know the seating arrangement can make or break the evening – you can’t have your best friend sit next to her ex when she has her eye on your new neighbor, after all.
So that everyone will know the proper place to sit, we have for you a set of printable place cards for your Friendsgiving dinner. But these cards do more than help you avoid awkward arrangements. Your guests can find their names to know where to sit. But on each place card, they’ll also find another name – that of a refugee whose story they can share with the table.
